Swapna
Bobba, MD
Even
as a child Swapna was interested in medicine. While at Kakatiya
Medical College, she learned first-hand how experience can augment
academic learning. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Bobba
moved to the United States and completed two years of an anesthesiology
residency program. She transferred to family medicine because she
missed the breadth and depth of patient care, particularly care
of the family unit. Swapna speaks Hindi and Telugu. Her interests
include Yoga and music. Swapna and her husband are the proud parents
of twins.

Jose
Garcia, MD
As
a little boy growing up in Cuba, Jose knew he was going to become
a physician someday. His father, sister and several other members
of his family are physicians in Cuba. He received his medical degree
from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas. The difficulties he
faced when trying to flee Cuba and his early experiences in the
U.S.A. didn’t douse his deep passion for medicine. While applying
for residency, Jose was employed as a medical assistant in a family
medicine clinic. He is a strong advocate of preventive medicine
and appreciates the close relationship between patient and physician.
Jose enjoys working out, swimming, traveling, reading, watching
movies and spending time with his family.
